Chronic Pain Resources
Chronic Pain is real pain and a real disorder. It is different from acute or structural pain and, therefore, requires a different kind of treatment. Often chronic pain stems from what I refer to as a limbic system wound or a communication error (or series of errors) in the nervous system. Thankfully, a lot of research has been done over the past decade or so and new, effective interventions have been created to help those suffering with chronic pain. The resources linked below contain quality information. I highly recommend them! If you want to move forward with a consultation to see if therapy for chronic pain management is the right fit for you at this time, please reach out.
